How Studio works

Studio is a temporary practice space for exploring relational moments through fictional scenes. You shape a situation and choose where you stand in it — playing a role, or watching from outside. At any point you can pause to discuss what’s happening, or vary the scene — changing how one character tends to move, or both when you’re watching — to see how the dynamic shifts.

Studio is built for learning how a relational dynamic moves — not for modelling a real person, or telling you how to handle one of your own. Nothing that happens in a scene is a verdict about your life, and it keeps no lasting record, so you can try things freely.

And when something in a scene lands — a moment worth staying with — you can carry it into another space: into Connection, to take it up with someone you’re already in relationship with, or into Reflection, to sit with it on your own.
